The most glamorous of the International shows of the year is always in December in Helsinki. This year was quite special, as although the number of dogs entered was small, we had participants from all the Nordic countries and also from Germany! The quality was really good, so it was quite exciting ringside. To make this year special the next day was the Nordic Winner 2005 held at the same place. Unfortunatly I couldn't attend, I'm sure it would have been fun too.

The Swedish Toller specialty is always spectacular but the specialties in Malmö tend to be extra spectacular. Obedience and agility on Thursday, Tolling hunt tests and regular hunt tests on Friday and Saturday and a magnificient official show with 280 tollers entered! We left our dogs at home and enjoyed the events 100% and more!

We had again the pleasure of taking care of Capsi's sibling Emma. The day was beautiful and we went to visit our friends who have granpa Nitro & co.

Small Fetcher puppy reunion in idyllic Velkua. None of Chili's siblings came, but we still had a great day by the sea. Participating were besides us the Small Fetcher dogs Fransu and Fanni, Dolly, Dolly's kids Debi, Eppu and Rölli from the F litter.

The puppies of Dessy (Sienna-Red Star Destiny) and Vertti (Hedera's Nice Friendly) are Sienna-Red Bellatrix (girl) and Sienna-Red Aquila (boy). Dessy herself is from a litter of two, her brother's name is S-R Star Eagle. Bellatrix is the name of a star and Aquila is eagle in latin :-).

Had a good try on the retriever instinct test with Chili. She passed the first parts (water retrieves, free search) but failed the last part, where she's supposed to follow a rabbit track and bring back the bunny. The tracking was perfect but for some reason she refused to pick up the bunny.

The Finnish Toller club had it's 15-year-specialty this weekend and on saturday we had a hunt training day with the judge Finn Lange from Denmark (kennel Huntmasters). It was a very intreresting day and we got lots of good ideas from mr Lange.

We passed by a search and rescue training court today and let Capsi try out the place. None of us had ever been to place like that before so we were all a bit curious!
