Time for my first inofficial show appearance! Weekend and the sun was shining and I was sure we'd go to a nice forest or something, that's what we usually do. Instead we drove into this big parking hall. When I got out of the car I wasn't that disappointed anymore, there were hundreds of pals all over the place, all youngsters like me! We also met a few old friends of mine, a few two-legged ones and then the flats Timi and Dante. After some waiting something happened, I had to stop socializing with all the pals and change into another leash, a much lighter one and then me and Mom went into the ring. The other redcoat was running around the ring and I obviously had to wait for my turn. Then me and Mom had to run around the ring too, it was really nice, as all the folks were looking, so I had to show them my beautiful trot! The judge said she liked me a lot and thought I was very well behaving. Here's what she (Leila Kärkäs, not qualified as a toller judge) said (my Moms free translation):"
Leila Kärkäs, Ruoholahti 2.3.03:
A bitch with good bones, for the moment high in the rear. Light muzzle. Good ears and neck. Well angulated in front, but the turn of stifle could be better. Shows herself well and is well presented. Moves well. Very good temperament.
So it was fun, but it was perhaps even more fun afterwards when we on our way home stopped for a nice walk on the ice.
