Corfu, August 2002
We were on a very nice trip to the Greek island Corfu (Kerkyra) in August. It was more or less an ex tempore trip and a total success. The first half of the week we traveled around the island on a scooter. We saw some breathtaking landscapes (better than the pictures) and had very fun. The other half of the vacation we relaxed on the beach, which was naturally wonderful.
Our spacy flat (for four persons actually) was a lot more luxurious than we had expected and it was almost glued to the beach. A totally unexpected bonus was that there was a cat family with quite a few kittens living outside our door. The food was perfect for our taste and we also loved the cold coffee drink, "frappe" they served.
