This M-file isn't about some specific event, it's just about something I've been doing while I haven't been updating these pages :-) : Agility! I'm still classified as a newbie, but in reality I'm an agility genius. The controversy comes from the fact that my human is a real problem. She just doesn't get stuff that fast. If anyone has any good training books ideas for dogs training humans, I'd appreciate the tips.
Dont' bite the hand that feeds you... This one is from last summer, when we had just started with this wonderful sport. My human got a spare place from a popular newbie class and so we started the carrier. Everything was ok as long as we just did one obstacle at a time. The problems began when we on the summer camp (mfile 23) started with more complicated stuff. She just lost contact with me so I just had to leave her. It was so humiliating. Well, then she learned and I could stay with her. Nowadays this is not much of a problem.
My favourite things are the tunnel, the dog walk and the A-frame. Of course I also like the treats, and the running fast thing. My human's not so fast so that's something I'd like to work on. Her legs are twice as long as mine, so why doesn't that compensate for the amount? Aren't there any accessories out there for humans? Run Run Human!
Hooray! The teeter was a Bad Thing for a long time. Actually my first impression was that it was like the dog walk, so I was rather enthousiastic (I wasn't even two years old, you can't really blame me, and my human didn't warn me either). Then the darn teeter just broke and well, it wasn't very fun. No way I was going to walk on that thing again! This is humiliating to tell, but my human is forcing me to do this (save me!). The only way she got me from one end to the other was with brutal force, treats and stuff. Horror thing. Now, when I'm almost three the teeter isn't so bad anymore. Still just a little bit scared though.
These poles are also something of a problem. My human is very nervous every time, she can't keep in her head where she should start and of some reason she's obsessed with the right side. Despite her, I've started to get the idea. Give me the treat and stop teasing me!
We have attended a few "mölli" trials. There are no weave poles or teeters there. I've had a great time, but I suspect my human hasn't had as great time as me. In a trial you're supposed to be the fastest, right? Well, I figure that the fastest way is to run under the jumps. It's my big trial-only-secret, so please don't tell anyone.

More agility pictures and a few movie clips (!) in the Photo Archive
